I look forward to serving the people and families that I have created relationships with. It is a pleasure to work alongside the doctors to ensure that patients feel comfortable and a part of our dental family! I am a native San Diegan - I grew up in Rancho Peñasquitos. I love everything San Diego…from the iconic beaches to the vast mountains! I have a heart for serving as a volunteer and in mentorship at my church. I am a blessed mother of two beautiful daughters (and sons-in-law) and the sweetest puppy! I look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to our practice.
I'm known for calm energy, quick hands, and the ability to turn even nervous patients into chill ones. I like clean teeth, good music, and efficient systems—preferably all in the same day. I’m here to keep the doctor on track, the tools in line, and the vibe relaxed. Outside the office, I run, lift, and hunt for great coffee like it’s a sport.
Growing up, I was fortunate to go to a considerate and welcoming Dental office. I use that experience as the foundation for interacting with current patients. I love providing a helpful hand for patients, as we navigate financial and insurance-related issues. I strive to provide a comfortable environment for patients to get the best care possible. As a non-native to San Diego, I love playing tourist and exploring what this beautiful city has to offer. I am passionate about music. It is my outlet to express my creativity through my own music, as well as in my support of other artists.

Originally from the Central Valley, I graduated from San Joaquin Valley College in 2014 and have been practicing for the last 9 years in the Bay Area. My family and I relocated to sunny San Diego in the beginning of 2024 and we love it!
I absolutely love being a hygienist and helping make a difference in my patients dental health. Making all my patients feel comfortable is what I strive for since I know not a lot of people enjoy coming to see us.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and our two dogs. I have two wonderful children that keep me very busy with all their sports and various activities...and I enjoy being their #1 cheerleader! We love traveling together, going to Disneyland, having movie nights, and going to the beach.

I had the pleasure of working chairside to Dr. Connie Pierce for 20 years and with Drs. Brandon and Jennifer Pierce for the past few years. A favorite aspect of my job is creating a comfortable and informative experience for patients. It is a pleasure to work the doctors to make sure that patients feel a part of our dental family.
As a San Diego native I love hiking or camping our local mountains, taking my dog to the beach, browsing farmer's markets and everything amazing our city has to offer. I find time for coffee dates and adventures with my beautiful daughters, away from their busy college schedules. I also enjoy volunteering and aspire to travel outside of the states.

I love exploring San Diego and discovering bars, restaurants, beaches and hiking trails. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking new dishes and doing all kinds of outdoor activities.
Melanie has been in the dental field for 7 years, starting as an assistant and working her way to the front. Her passion for dental started when she was just 5 years old.
Melanie spends her free time with her 8 year old son watching hockey games and playing board games.
